LIG guarantees that your PC will perform and maintain excellent compatability and functionality during the entire warranty period. LIG also guarantees that your PC will perform in the manner that it was expected to, and for the original intended purpose during the entire warranty period. If at any time during the warranty period your machine fails to perform correctly due to hardware or hardware driver problems, LIG will research and correct any driver related PC problem that prevents normal operation. This guarantee only applies to the related functionality of good quality software, such as the Microsoft Office Suite, Corel Office Suite, Windows Operating Systems, McAfee Security products, and other main stream software titles that are known to function properly on the vast majority of systems. Software that requires different hardware, new hardware, modified hardware, is poorly written, or that was not available or purchased at the time of the original sale, will not be guaranteed to be compatible and function properly with your system.
What Is Not Covered
Any system component that has been abused, misused, mishandled, or contains physical damage will not be covered under warranty terms. It is the customer's responsibility to provide proper care, and additionally proper power protection for the computer/device. Hardware failures due to power related problems or acts of God will not be covered under these warranty terms. External peripherals such as printers and monitors are covered only by the original equipment manufacturer, and are therefore subject to the terms of the original equipment manufacturers warranty policy. In most cases, LIG will assist in contacting the direct OEM for hardware replacement. Additionally, warranty service may be refused to any account that is not current or is in arears, and/or has outstanding balances, and/or that have not been satisfied or kept up with in good faith.
Warranty Execution Policies
All warranty service on LIG branded systems must be peformed by or performed under the supervision and guidelines of LIG Computer. During the first year of warranty coverage, all labor and hardware fees will be waived. During the second and third year, the customer will be responsible for any labor fees only. In most cases, warranty fulfillment is "same day" for business servers, and "next business day" for all workstation and desktop systems. Desktop and workstation users may be required to carry in their systems for repair depending on current workloads. Systems that are over 1 year old may also require non-stocked parts, therefore extending the time required to successfully complete the repair, but not exceeding more than 5 business days. Additionally, warranty service may be refused to any account that is not current or is in arears, and/or has outstanding balances, and/or that have not been satisfied or kept up with in good faith.
